The Fundamentals of Inflatable Duct Sealing System
The inflation bags wrap around the already placed fabric innerducts and cables, and inflate to terminate the conduit end. When inflated to the proper air pressure, the duct sealing system seals the duct, guaranteeing a reliable water block. The Inflatable Duct Sealing systems seal ducts with or without cables and can be installed even while water is flowing out of the duct. This system is very effective for inhibiting water, mud, debris or animal intrusion into a conduit. It can also be easily removed and replaced if cable is added or removed at a later time. This allows incremental cable deployments and reduces your total installation cost.
Our products can provide an airtight seal in innerduct diameters ranging from 2 inches to 5 inches. They can be installed in cable ducts in manholes, vaults, buildings, cabinets, or anywhere a reliable duct seal is needed. Applications include ducts containing multiple copper, coax, or fiber cables, customer premises cable entrances, and air pipes.
Our Inflatable Duct Sealing System products can be installed between (-5°to 40°C) (23° to104°F). It is recommended that they be kept warm until installation when installed at temperatures below freezing.
